Prior to joining Gumucio, she worked as a Processes Lawyer at BBVA PREVISION AFP, where she was responsible for Executive and Coercive processes of Social Security, both under the old and new Pension Law, managing a portfolio of around 1,000 processes nationwide.
Later on, she served as Legal Advisor and Litigation Lawyer at an oilfield services company, where she represented 97 labor processes for social benefits, labor reinstatement, and social infractions in Courts of the Capital and its Provinces.
In 2019, she joined the firm “Gumucio” as a Senior Associate and served as head of the procedural and litigation area. Following her successful intervention in mediating labor terminations during the pandemic, she was transferred to the corporate-labor area due to her high spirit of client conflict resolution. Finally, since 2022, she has worked in that area as a legal controller, providing personalized legal assistance to national and foreign companies, with a wide portfolio of important companies and market leaders assigned to her. As of 2023, she has been promoted to partner of the Labor Advisory Department to Companies. She has recently been ranked as one of Bolivia’s best labor lawyers, according to the 2024 edition of Chambers and Partners.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Sciences from the Gabriel René Moreno Autonomous University and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from the same institution. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Labor Conflict Resolution and Mediation at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico – Spain. She is a lecturer in Labor Law at “Cainco Capacita” and in Postgraduate studies at the San Pablo Catholic University, Santa Cruz campus.
